Design Considerations

Five steps to delivering an integrated water treatment solution.

STEP 1: We identify and define our customer's requirements. We begin by generating a profile of the technical and practical considerations specific to each application by asking the following questions:
What are the contaminants which must be removed?
To what levels must they be reduced?
What are the flow rates and water usage demands?
Will the treated water be reused or discharged?
What are the discharge options, if any?
What are the space and location limits at the site?
What power is available?
Are there any concerns with solids or byproducts disposal?
What regulatory issues come into play?
What other unique requirements might this application have?
STEP 2: Next, we select from available tools and technologies, finding those which best fit the requirements identified in step one:
Typical Water Treatment Technology Options:
check oil/water separators check electro-pulse separation*
check skimming devices check chemical injection
check booms, pads, absorbents check liquid polymer flocculation
check elastomer polymer filtration* check dissolved air flotation (DAF)
check carbon filtration check programmable logic controllers
check cone bottom tanks check sensing devices (level, flow, etc.)
check pleated filters check proximity sensors (oil, water, air)
check sand filtration check clarifying tanks
check D.E. Filtration check air sparging
check ultraviolet check oxygen generation*
check ozone generation check pumps (all types)
check ozone/water injection* check resin beds
check bag filters* check pressure vessels
check pH adjustment check custom design and engineering
* Self developed technologies
STEP 3: We scale and customize the selected technologies to form a unified and synergistic process package.
STEP 4: We integrate the custom process design with programmable logic controllers (PLC's) for hands-free, trouble-free operation. Troubleshooting diagnostics and ease-of-service configurations are built right in.
STEP 5: We mount the entire treatment system on a single skid platform, guaranteeing easy installation, simple operation and convenient maintenance.
