OilTrap Environmental has been manufacturing EC systems since 1992 and has hundreds of systems successfully operating in almost every state in the US, Canada and Mexico.
There have been other companies that have tried to develop EC technology and failed, how can I be sure that your EC system will meet my treatment objectives?
OilTrap will guarantee your success with a 6 month water quality warranty. If the system does not meet your water treatment objectives, we will refund your FOB cost upon return of the system back to the factory. I highly suggest that you ask the EC supplier you are considering working with for a 6 month water quality warranty. If the system they manufactured does not work, then they should buy it back willingly. If they don’t, BE AWARE. They probably don’t believe that the system they designed will perform well or consistently.
What type of experience does your company have with EC and solving potential problems such as poor water quality or cell plate-up?
OilTrap Environmental is the leading manufacturer and designer of EC technology. Our application and mechanical engineering staff have over 40 years of combined experience solving water treatment challenges and developing the EC technology for you to be successful.
I would like to see one of your EC systems operating in a similar application to mine, what do you have for me to see within a 4 hour drive of my location?
With hundreds of ElectroPulse EC systems in operation, we have a system in almost state in the US. Ask how many systems the supplier you are considering has in operation and ask for a reference list of systems that have been in operation over 1 year.
What is the expected life cycle of the cell you are using on your EC system?
OilTrap’s proprietary cell design will provide at least 100 hours of operation or we will replace it free of charge. Our cells will process water an average of 140 hours before replacement is necessary.
Can you provide performance data of an actual installation similar to mine?
We can provide actual performance data from installations for many different applications. Be aware that performance data taken from a lab setting is not always similar to a live installation.
